ALONG THE WAY

Liz's debut album Along the Way features original tunes along with some of her favorite swinging classics from the Great American Songbook. Playing alongside her are Grayson Nye on piano, Ben Crino on guitar, Carlo DeRosa on bass, Drew Deur on drums, and Jace Frederick on saxophones.

I Choose to Be Happy

"I Choose To Be Happy" is one of Liz's original tunes from her debut album, Along the Way. This up-tempo swing tune pays homage to the composers of the Great American Songbook while bringing lyrics that reflect the modern era. This song also features a soli section with melodic lines inspired by the music of the bebop era.

BUT BEAUTIFUL

"But Beautiful" in a bewitching ballad written by Jimmy Van Heusen and Johnny Burke. It starts off with a rubato verse with just voice and guitar then the rest of the band joins in time on the head. This song features Ben Crino on guitar for a solo in double-time swing feel.
